Your Opinions Are Needed!

bart never lie to you

Hello there,

I’ve been writing this blog for almost three years now and while it give me immense pleasure, it’s sometimes hard to judge if it’s of benefit to anyone else out there.

So with that in mind, if you’re reading this, please take as little as 10 seconds of your time to tell me what you think of the blog and what you would do different or improve upon by leaving a comment below.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have too.

Thanks!

Charles

  1. Hi – just discovered your blog in my search for a decent 2d FLOSS animation tool. I very much appreciated your post on the need for a good version of such.

Keep up the good work – I’ll be paying attention.

    Cheers!

  2. Sorry this is a little late, but better late than never. As an aspiring musician and animator-hopeful, I have been following this blog for about two years now. Thank you so much for running his blog, I love seeing your take on animation and also learning a lot about the industry. It also helps knowing the is someone out there who appreciates My Life as a Teenage Robot and Rob Renzetti as much as I do out there too! I check in everyday, eagerly awaiting the next post from the Animation Anomaly. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

    1. Thanks a lot for your response KB! πŸ˜€

I will readily admit that it’s been a learning process over the years. The industry is constantly changing and I do my best to keep up with it.

And yes, I love My Life as a Teenage Robot. A lot of people out there seem to, even if they aren’t very vocal about it.

  3. Hi Charles,

I like checking out your blog because it’s consistently thoughtful and brings up interesting ideas. The fact that you aren’t a jaded member of the animation industry with an axe to grind helps too.

  4. I know how you feel. I’ve been doing my blog for over 2 years, and I’m lacking in the comments area too. I appreciate your blog because you are actually creating content. I don’t add links to blogs that just repost the same Pixar trailers.

    1. Thanks Jonathon!

I used to feature a lot more news, but then I realised that the blog would just be another ‘me too’ one of the kind I tend to avoid. So I decided to focus much more on original writing.

I suppose you can take a lack of comments both ways; as an optimist, I assume I’m doing a good job!

  5. Thanks for going on with your blog! I have discovered it recently and from now you have some loyal followers (stop motion animators) from Barcelona, Spain.
